Temple church is located just off the A30 main trunk road
that traverses Bodmin Moor. It is one of the few Parishes that is truly
situated on the moor.
The Church, named St Catharine's, is easily missed as one drives over the Moor. The webmaster considerers Temple church, along with Advent, one of the gems of the Bodmin Moor Churches, due to its simplicity, with just a chancel, nave and north transept, all being almost doll's house in size.
At the time of writing the Church is kept unlocked, and open for inspection, twenty-four hours a day. The church has had a chequered history which can be read about in other websites that are available on the Net (please see the links page.)

| The Churchyard seems to have
more than its fair share of grave stones in the form of simple crosses,
which have led some to believe that the Church, along with Blisland, has
links to Freemasonry.
The small building by the main entrance to the church is interesting as it has built into its structure remnants of an earlier church that once stood on the site. The Church is well worth a visit, if for nothing else, it's tranquility.
