Although Little Orchard Village is about 30 miles south of Bodmin Moor, it is ideally situated for anyone doing serious Family History Research: being just 10 miles from Truro and 9 miles from Redruth. Truro is the home to the Cornwall Record Office and the Cornwall Family History Society. They both contain a wealth of information about your Cornish ancestors. At Redruth you will find the Cornwall Centre a must for old maps and pictures of all the towns, villages and hamlets of Cornwall. |
| The Little Orchard Village has been created in a lovely
wooded valley: Trevaunance Cove, is just a short stroll down Rocky
Lane, with its sheltered sandy beach. The un-spoilt village of St
Agnes is just a short walk away. The chalets have been carefully sited in picturesque terraced gardens to give a quiet, peaceful holiday. The chalets are built either of local stone or timber and overlooking spacious lawns and numerous colourful shrubs. The Harman Family have run the Village for over 50 years, and during that time have learnt what their guests have come to expect. |
